Cookies
Needed for the site to work
These are always on: without them you couldn’t sign in, book or buy. They don’t track you anywhere else.
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Sign-in (pd-owner-login) | Keeps you signed in to your account. | Until you sign out |
| Basket and delivery address (pd-basket, pd-address) | Remembers what you’re buying and where it goes. | Until you clear them |
| Your search (pd-thread, pd-last-dog) | Takes you back to your search, and remembers which dog it was for. | This visit, or until you clear them |
| Your cookie choices (pd_consent) | Remembers what you chose here, so we don’t ask again. | 6 months |
| Stripe (checkout only) | Card payments and fraud checks, by our payments partner. | Set by Stripe |
Optional
Pooky Dog doesn’t use any optional cookies at the moment. If that changes, we’ll ask you first.
No cookie is used to track you across other sites unless you choose Marketing. Our visit totals for businesses (“who’s looking”) use no cookie: we count page views by a shortened internet address, never kept whole.
